Printed Matters 

This Series was done in 2006 when Print Media was at its height but being rapidly replaced by the internet. Stephan collected thousands of pages from the leading newspapers and magazines while on his travels between New York, London and continental Europe.

The message he is conveying in this series is the power of the print media, the visual impact of the headlines, texts and pictures they use, which can lead to a change in perception due to its mass distribution. The cut out pieces are then transformed into an illustrated story - a story without a storyline.
